Game Description
Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you.
Step 1: Playing Conditions
Read below the game basic characteristics. If it is something you see yourself playing, move on to Step 2: Graphics & Sound.
Gameplay Overview
Like most open-world games, there is A VARIETY OF THINGS TO DO in Cyberpunk 2077 (CP2077). Being part of the story or not, you will gunfight, race, fistfight, collect stuff, solve puzzles, complete missions, chat, make love(!)… and added to all that a complex RPG character building and inventory management.
There is a world of possibilities in CP2077 and the first hours of gameplay make it clear how exciting can be to build and shape a character into the Night City. The RPG system comes with a huge variety of choices allowing players to create their own gameplay style. But, WHAT MOST STOOD OUT DURING THE GAMEPLAY WERE THE VARIETY OF BUGS, crashes, and performance issues. The game is not ready.
Step 2: Graphics & Sound
Watch 5 to 10 minutes of any video below. If you like what you see and hear, move on to Step 3: Game Evaluation.
Step 3: Game Evaluation
Build your expectations about the game by learning what it offers and how was The Partisan Spy’s experience.
USER INTERFACE
The number of bugs can make it hard to understand the game and its interface.
KEYBINDINGS LIMITATIONS go beyond hardcoded keys, some are literally blocked or just don’t work. So you are obligated to play with default keybinds or struggle with “double key functions”. The HUD follows the standards of an FPS game and the CONSTANT SMALL BUGS can grow to be annoying. The in-game menu also follows common standards except for the map. The 3D map with red buildings can feel cluttered and confusing for some.
STORY
There are possibly THOUSANDS OF HOURS OF STORY content to be played and a new DLC has already been announced. The story is divided into Acts. It took +11 hours to finish Act 1 and after 25 hours of gameplay, Act 2 has not yet finished.
The game revolves around the main story and to unlock some features, missions need to be played. The main story is also the starting point to side stories and side missions. At a certain point, some may feel overwhelmed by the growing list of missions.
COMMUNITY POTENTIAL
CP2077 starts huge. Not a lot of games are able to generate so much fuss at the gaming community, even after 3 release delays.
The hype just kept growing and even before the game was released there were half-a-million of people talking about it in their subreddit. Content creators have YEARS OF CONTENT TO EXPLORE and PVP mode is still to come. Despite the bumpy start, CP2077 has its own style and will be translated by the community in every way: memes, cosplay, fan art, wikis…
MOOD ANALYSIS
Fun, frustration, fun, frustration, fun frustration… That’s the best way to describe my feelings while playing CP2077. As you play the game, it’s clear the potential the game has to give you an immersive experience for hours and hours. But as you start getting involved, a random bug breaks the rhythm of the game. And this happens over and over again. CP2077 had the potential to end with a mood average on EXCITED or higher but all bugs brought it down to ENTERTAINED.
GRIND FEELING
The variety of things to do and learn pushes away any kind of grind feeling you can have while playing CP2077.
25 HOURS OF GAMEPLAY WEREN’T ENOUGH to experience everything that its open-world offers. Not just that, but even missions can be completed in different ways. Doors open or close depending on the character’s abilities and the choices you make. A characteristic that shows the game has a huge replayability potential.
EVALUATION SUMMARY
Cyberpunk 2077 is NOT READY and is not worth US$ 60.00 at its current state.
The hype CD Projekt RED built around CP2077 is proportional to the gaming community deception. We would be fine and supportive if THE TRUTH ABOUT THE STATE of the game was told.
8 years of waiting, no one left.
3 major release delays, no one left.
Multiplayer being pushed to 2021, no one left.
The choice of not setting expectations right makes CP2077 one of the MOST FRUSTRATING GAMEPLAY EXPERIENCES a player can have.
For many years already, gaming companies (developers and publishers) are used to price games, especially when AAA titles, by what it will be and not by what it is when released. Cyberpunk 2077 is just another classic case to be added to the list.
No doubt the digital era brought much more benefits to the gaming industry than disadvantages. But one thing was certain about offline physical copy games, all of them were released as first promised.
Regardless of all that, CP2077 will still be huge. We all bought in and now it is too big to fail. CD PROJEKT RED DOESN’T DESERVE IT, THE CYBERPUNK 2077 IDEA DOES.

The latest news, CP2077 has been delisted from PStore.
